Custom Name Necklace with Rhinestone Letters

wire work, Wire Sculpted Ammonite Pendant

In stock

This ammonite fossil has fantastic details that show in the spirals. Wrapped in a sterling silver filled looping frame this pendant is about 2.5" long. One of the most widely known fossils, ammonites are eoliths of now-extinct marine mollusks called ammonoids. Due to the sheer number of ammonoids before they became extinct 65 million years ago, there are quite the abundance of fossils found today. The name ammonite comes from the god Ammon, who had spiral ram horns and was originally an Ethiopian or Libyan deity that later was worshiped all over Egypt and parts of Greece. All attempts have been made to photograph these items correctly in the natural light. However, colors can/do vary with everyone's individual monitors., unique
